I thought I'd start out by posting my favorite piece.
I'll be taking many more pictures, but I'll start out with this for now.
It is a vintage cobalt carafe - one of my favorite shapes and colors.

And here's another... an ivory 12-inch comport.
Don't let the fruit fool you - it's artificial!

I have a black thumb, not green!
I turned a badly chipped mixing bowl (#5) into a planter by filling in the chips with grout and then painting the repaired rim with an obviously darker color of model-car enamel paint.
Then I filled with styrofoam, artificial plants, and brown felt to simulate dirt.
Voila!
A plant even I can't kill!

And one more. This is another badly-damaged mixing bowl (#3).
In this case, I painted over glue discolorations on the rim and filled in chipped areas with layers of paint.
Add a few artfully-draped leaves, and it was good to go!

In my picture, you see flowers - lots of flowers!
The vintage teapot has a crack in it - I don’t know what happened.
Maybe someone tried to keep water warm on the stove.
But the crack goes all the way around the teapot bottom.
So now it's a pretty planter.
Pink, purple, and blue - I’m all about that!
